When I first came to Emmaus, Josh was one of the first friends that I made. He remained a best friend all throughout the years since we first met. It was so easy being a friend with him. I’m not sure if it was because he would listen to me, and cry with me, or because he could always make me laugh. He knew the rules of life, that’s why he was always having fun. I can’t remember a time with him that I wasn’t having fun, whether it is at a fire or swimming and Jet skiing at Lake Wallenpaupack. Over the years of high school I have so many memories, most of which have Josh in the center of them, that’s why I felt so special when he asked me to prom. He was more than a friend, he was an inspiration. He wasn’t the greatest dancer but he had so much heart behind it and we had so much fun dancing that night away. He always knew exactly what to say to make us, “Josh’s girls”, happy.
